this week in kites we started making our kites.
first we got our plans then we started making the frames here is a picture off the finishing frame

This week in my workshop we started to make the big kites for the new school, we had i little session with flying the kites and doing our finishing touches on our sheet. here are some photos off what we have done.

dragons apretice book review

The dragon's apprentice is a book that the teacher reads in class and i really enjoy it because the dragon is dying and they want to save it so it takes them a while to get it and they nearly didn't get the dragon in times cause it was about to die but you'll have to read it to see see what happens. There are about 4 main characters: Toby,Cleil, Seniel,and Prince Blaze. They all ending up in a magical land where dragons live with the apprentices of the land where Cliel lived. If you're interested you can get the book out i recommend it.

the arts of kites week 1

We had our first workshop today, including a chance for search time with the websites on the Kites page on Mt's Site. Then we went outside to have a go at flying the some kites we will be using from time to time during our workshop.
